I'm Kristy, a mum of three and wife to my partner in crime Ben. I'm a writer, yoga teacher and marriage celebrant who loves nature, the outdoors, good food and travelling. I've been marrying couples since 2019 and I would be so honoured to be your marriage celebrant!

Will you help us with the legal documentation?

Yes, 100%. I will handle all of the legalities on the day and lodgments so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Do you travel outside of Sydney?

Yes, I love road-tripping and am more than happy to travel outside Sydney to your wedding venue, wherever it be! Travel fees apply depending on the location.

What additional services do you offer?

As an experienced yoga teacher with more than 7 years teaching experience I have seen first-hand how yoga can change people's lives. So swap the dance classes for yoga classes in the lead up to your beautiful big day. My classes are designed to truly connect you with your partner - there'll be no talking about flower arrangements or speeches, and just you two connecting in the authentic bubble of love you have built together.

My yoga services include:

Private Couples’ Yoga classes in the lead up to your wedding
Bridal party yoga on the day of your wedding
Yoga for Hens’ events or Kitchen Teas (dependent on location)

Kristy was the perfect person to marry my husband (!) and me! She was warm, calm and genuine from the first time we met and did such an amazing job of guiding us through the process. Kristy made it so fun and easy to achieve a ceremony that felt truly authentic, a little bit fresh/different and a real reflection of us. Kristy was organised and thoughtful and hit the perfect tone in every way - even down to the little things like knowing when to step out for a photo op or helping with tiny tweaks to a word here and there in our vows. We couldn’t recommend Kristy more highly!! I also did a private yoga class with Kristy and my bridesmaids the morning of the wedding and it was the PERFECT way to start the day! Kristy led us through the most lovely practice and immediately afterwards I felt centred and was able to let go of all the planning and prep to enjoy the day. An absolute game changer for the whole day!! The hugest thank you to Kristy for being such an important part of our perfect day!!

Kristy was the perfect celebrant for our wedding. She curated a beautiful, relaxed and romantic ceremony which was exactly what we had hoped for. How can I pay tribute at my wedding to my dad who's no longer with us?

Dad passed away 12 months ago. Would love some ideas how I can still include him somehow.

Firstly, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your father will be watching over you no doubt on your magical day. One idea on how to include your dad's spirit in your wedding is to include a reading in the form of a poem, book extract or song lyrics that were your father's favourite pieces of literature or prose. You could have your dad's significant other, or one of his children read the poetry on behalf of your father, to pay tribute to his spirit. I have a list of beautiful readings and song lyrics I can share with you for inspiration. Another beautiful way to remember your dad is via a remembering of past family. I build this into each of my bespoke scripts and I layer it depending on how deep each couple choose to go. Additional ideas might be doing the father/duaghter dance with your mum but to your dad's favourite song, or a special song you and he loved together. I hope these ideas help and I am sorry for your deep loss. Love Kristy
