My Name is Catherine Hogarth, I am a mother of 4 and a young grandmother of 14.
I am an Alternative Celebrant.
Alternative meaning that I will help you make your day special & unique,
by helping to design a wedding of your dreams no matter what it may be.
Sunset on a private yacht, hot air ballooning, out on the farm,
Wherever your special place may be.
I will ensure your ceremony will reflect your thoughts,hopes and dreams.
I love to watch the love of my couples as they come to visit to complete paperwork.
Same sex marriages, I am so privilaged to be able to work with as these are now legal in Australia.
My goal is to make your wedding ceremony a dream come true,
with your day becoming a treasured memory.
I am an Authorised Celebrant, will go anywhere for a ceremony and do almost anything to make the couples day perfect!
About
Hi, I am the owner of Alternative Ceremonies, Magic of the Moment. I love my job. I have a full time job as well so this is my favourite part of each week. The Wedding days, (I also am a Funeral Celebrant). I will travel throughout Queensland to officiate at your Wedding. I am happy to travel interstate if I am requested. I have 13 beautiful Grandchildren. I play Tennis 2 nights a week, soccer Friday nights and Gym 5 days a week, I have a great group of friends thanks to these activities.

Thank you so much Rebecca and Russell, it was such a fun day working with you and your family, they made me feel so welcome. with early preparations and meetings with you both and Katie the photographer made things even easier. You're arrival at the reception was also lots of fun and happiness while we were all waiting for you both to arrive. There were hick ups that we ironed out before you both arrived. You both have a beautiful little family I wish you all the best for your future.
