Hedlow Retreat is, quite simply, breathtaking. From the moment we visited, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The freedom to choose exactly where we held our ceremony meant we could create a day that felt completely like us, and having so many items available to hire through the venue made the planning process so much simpler. Having accommodation on site for our guests was invaluable. It meant everyone could relax and enjoy the celebration without worrying about travelling home, and the commercial kitchen and cold room made the entire day run so smoothly behind the scenes. Jaclyn was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her communication was always clear, prompt and consistent, and she made us feel supported throughout the entire planning process. Even now, our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was. We truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate such a special day. If you’re looking for a celebrant who will make the whole process feel effortless, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Cath more. She was our celebrant for both our legal elopement and our wedding celebration, and from the very beginning she was open to every weird, wonderful and unconventional idea we brought to the table. She never made us feel like our vision was “too much” or “too different”—instead, she embraced it with warmth, humour and so much understanding. Throughout the entire lead-up, we never felt stressed. She was clear about what she needed from us, took care of everything behind the scenes, and made the whole process feel so easy. Knowing she had everything organised meant we could actually enjoy being engaged instead of worrying about paperwork or timelines. On the day, she created ceremonies that felt so authentically us. She struck the perfect balance between heartfelt, light-hearted and personal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to marry us.
