OVERVIEW

Relaxed, formal or anything in between, I'd love to work with you to create your ceremony.

A supporter of marriage equality I love my work and want to provide you with the best possible ceremony. If you are looking for a celebrant that is caring, professional and dedicated to providing you with the ceremony you dreamed about, give me a call.

Whether located in Metropolitan Melbourne, South Eastern Suburbs, Dandenong Ranges, Gippsland, Phillip Island, or anywhere else, I would be happy to travel to your chosen location.

A ceremony for 4 people or 400, a simple ceremony with a few friends, or something more involved utilising candles, wine, sand or any other elements, I will create a ceremony for you which incorporates your own beliefs and traditions.

Need assistance choosing music, or want advice about how to incorporate different elements, I am happy to assist you. I bring a friendly professionalism to my work as a celebrant to ensure your day is an occasion to remember.

My portable PA system will enable your music to be played no matter where the venue is situated. A microphoneLwill ensure that your guests are able to hear the service.

I encourage a rehearsal prior to the wedding to ensure that everyone involved is confident about their role and able to perform it.

Rehearsals help to relax everyone in the bridal party and are usually great fun too.

Whatever you desire, I’d feel very privileged to help you realise your dream.

Naomi was amazing. We had so many guest commenting on how well she had personalised our ceremony. She spent so much time with my husband and I in the lead up to our big day just to make sure everything was how we wanted.

Can you go without a rehearsal with bridal party?

Is a runsheet enough to coordinate everyone on the big day or are rehearsals necessary? If so what is the best approach for this?

Taylored Ceremonies

Hi Julia,

Sure you can go without a rehearsal but nothing can replace it.  Rehearsals in my opinion are invaluable.  Rehearsals do a number of things.

They allow everyone in the bridal party to come together - particularly important if some members are not known to others.

People learn most easily by doing so a rehearsal where you and your bridal party actually step through where and when they are going to walk, sit, turn, regroup etc.  is the best way to do this.  Logistics or how people move in a ceremony often need practice.  A run sheet and its instructions can be misunderstood resulting in strange interpretations of the instructions.

If you are lighting candles or tying the knot with ribbons it is important to practice actually doing so.  It's not always as easy as it seems. The result on the day will be so much better.

In the end it's up to you but a rehearsal will make your wedding day run much more smoothly, it will reduce the stress of the day and allow everyone to enjoy the main event, your wedding.

All the best,

Naomi Taylor
