I started doing weddings 15 years ago, and I’m still learning and still loving it. I’ll never get sick of it because I’m too fascinated by the human condition. And I get too much of a buzz from the love energy on the day. I was the first hip celebrant in town. The first one to inject life into wedding ceremonies. I got the stiffs to move over.

I do weddings in a way that’s fun and serious. It's all about the balance. The right mix of gravitas and entertainment. Your ceremony should be a highlight of the day. Not something to be endured before your party starts. It’s my job to launch your party.

And when your guests have been entertained and when they’ve been made patently aware of why they’re at your wedding your party cannot fail. And your guests have been invited to your wedding to celebrate your relationship, your love for each other and the fact that you couldn’t be more serious about what you’re doing.

I’m also a working musician, an MC and a radio broadcaster. I’ve paid my showbiz dues and I understand entertaining in a way that only experience can teach. I know how to put on a show but I also understand the importance of making it all about the couple I’m marrying. It’s all about you. I’m a good listener. You need to be in this business.
