Budgy B Celebrant - Jane Hansen

I am  Jane Hansen from Budgy B Celebrant and I am having the best time working with couples approaching their wedding day. 

I love the opportunity to make your day unique to you by getting to know what is important to you both and what you want to say about yourselves on the day. How often do you get your nearest and dearest together in one place?

Engaging with the people that are most important to you is an amazing opportunity. You want them to understand that they are there because you love and value them and want them to be part of the next step in your lives. 

Story telling is an integral part of any wedding ceremony and I will take the time to get to know your story. What makes you laugh, what do you value most and how did you get to this day? I want to hear about your family, special friendships, whatever you think is relevant to help me get to know you better. 

Collaboration is essential and I will work closely with you to create a ceremony that is memorable for all the right reasons. Unique to you and full of life, joy, meaning and humour. Something to look back on and say "we created that and it was the beginning of our new (married) life together".

Support and encouragement - sometimes couples feel a bit overwelmed but that doesn't need to happen. I will guide you through the process and take care of the important stuff (legal paperwork). I am available to my couples for  guidance or to be a sounding board for their ideas or concerns or just to listen.

Wedding planning shouldn't be stressful. It should be exciting and fun!

Going the extra mile is important to me. I will do what is needed to help you enjoy your day. I have dispensed sunscreen to guests, handed out tissues, done discreet breathing exercises with nervous grooms and demonstrated the best way for brides to use the toilet in a wedding dress. Whatever it takes. 

If time allows I will take some relaxed, humourous photos with the couple that they can use on social media.

Married to the gorgeous Peter. I have always been very creative, loving writing, performance art, public speaking & have had the fortune of using these skills in various occupations throughout my career. I have been told I see so far outside the box that I sometimes forget where the box is, but I truly believe that your wedding day should be unique, and I would love to help you achieve that.
