“Thank you so much for being our wedding celebrant Barb. You were absolutely amazing yesterday! Words cannot express how grateful we are. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful ceremony it was. Thank you for suggesting the love locks; it was the best little touch to the ceremony! And thank you for answering all of my emails so quickly.”  - Ashlee & Jake.

The wording for our ceremony was beautiful and you made everyone feel comfortable. We can't thank you enough Barb. You are a beautiful person inside and out, and I would certainly recommend you as a celebrant. Thanks again!” - Karlee & Adam.

I have been a marriage celebrant and Justice of the Peace for 6 years . I love meeting new people and helping them create a ceremony that is a true reflection of who they are and what their relationship means to them. I live a relaxed life in the NSW Hunter Valley and enjoy spending time with my young family as well as contributing to charities in my community. My proudest moment was being named NSW Regional Woman of the Year.

Barb was an absolute asset to our day, and we are so glad we decided to go with her as our celebrant. Right from the get go Barb was super helpful, guided us through everything we needed to know and above all was super flexible in what we wanted for our ceremony. Not being super creative we left pretty much everything up to Barb, and we couldn't have been happier with our ceremony. It wasn't too long, and it captured us perfectly. We are so thankful to Barb and couldn't recommend her enough!

Barb was really good. Very organised and helpful. She met with us 12 months before. She made us feel very comfortable from the outset and was understanding of what sort of ceremony we wanted. She made it easy and we had no dramas on the day. Saved us a lot of work!

Barb was brilliant from start to finish. She made us feel so at ease and was helpful in answering all of our questions. I love how she allowed us to add so many personal touches to our wedding. So many people commented just how "us" they felt the ceremony was. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to have Barbara as the celebrant for our wedding. She was organised and delivered a beautiful and moving ceremony. She is an eloquent wordsmith and possesses an euphonious voice that commands an audience, which was exactly the type of celebrant we wanted for our ceremony. Thank you Barbara for making our ceremony so incredible and memorable. Jane & Jay

How many weddings do you book in per day?

Are celebrants usually doing one per day? or two on some days? How is this possible?! haha

Something Blue Weddings

About twice I year I will have 2 weddings on a day, BUT ONLY when there are hours between each wedding and a short distance to travel between the two weddings. Locations are usually fairly close in the Hunter Valley but I still ensure there are 2-3 hours between both weddings. I would be reluctant to book a wedding with a celebrant that was needing to rush between multiple ceremonies. Never hesitate to ask this question of your celebrant.

Any advice on writing my vows to my wife-to-be?

Something Blue Weddings

Speak or write from the heart. Don't ramble. Have someone proof read your vows for you.
