OVERVIEW
A ceremony that gives you space to feel it all.
Whether it’s just the two of you and your witnesses, or you’re standing in front of 200 of your favourite people, this moment still belongs to you.
Your wedding day will move quickly. There’ll be people to hug, photos to take, places to be and so much happening around you. Your ceremony is a chance for everything else to become quiet for a moment.
To look at each other. Take a breath. Notice who is there. Feel the nerves, the excitement, the laughter and the enormity of what you’re actually doing.
As your celebrant, I’ll hold that space for you.
That’s at the heart of a soul-based ceremony. It’s not about performing for the people watching or following a script because that’s how weddings are “supposed” to go. It’s about staying connected to the two people who matter most in that moment: you.
You don’t need to worry about doing anything perfectly. You can laugh. You can cry. You can pause. You can take a second to look around and think, this is really happening.
Because your ceremony isn’t something to get through before the celebration begins.
It is the moment you get married. And you deserve to be completely there for it.
Your ceremony can feel...
Soul-based wedding ceremonies across Castlemaine, Daylesford, Bendigo and surrounding Central Victoria, for couples who want to remember not only what happened, but how it felt.
About
I’m often described as the calm in the storm. I work as a nurse in palliative care and teach online, so caring for people is a big part of who I am. Celebrancy brings a whole different kind of joy to my heart, and I love being part of such a special moment in people’s lives. When I’m not working, you’ll find me gardening, quilting or enjoying the beautiful chaos of five grandkids, two dogs and a farm full of chooks, geese and sheep.

Why a rehearsal?
Because I want you to walk into your ceremony feeling calm and confident, not wondering where to stand or what happens next. We’ll run through it together beforehand, so on the day you can let all of that go, be present with each other and really feel the moment you get married.

FAQ
That’s completely okay. Your ceremony doesn’t need to follow a particular formula to be meaningful. Whether you’re planning something intimate, simple, non-traditional or somewhere in between, we can create a ceremony that feels comfortable and right for you.
Your celebrant does so much more than make your marriage legal. We’re the person standing with you in one of the biggest moments of your day, helping you feel comfortable, telling your story and setting the tone for everything that follows.
You’ll spend a lot of time choosing your venue, flowers, cake and all the beautiful details, but your ceremony is the part where you actually get married.
The right celebrant helps you slow down, be present and genuinely connect with each other in that moment. That’s why I believe choosing someone you trust and feel comfortable with matters just as much as choosing how everything will look.
There’s quite a bit happening behind the scenes. I take the time to get to know you, understand what matters to you, guide you through the legal requirements and shape a ceremony that feels natural and true to your relationship.
For me, it’s not about turning up with a script on the day. It’s about building a genuine connection with you beforehand so that when we’re standing together at your ceremony, you feel supported by someone who actually knows you.
For me, a soul-based ceremony is about staying connected to the two people who matter most in that moment: you.
I’m not there simply to read a script and move you through the ceremony. I’m watching you, reading the room and paying attention to what’s happening around us. If I can see that you’re nervous, caught up in the moment or everything is moving a little too quickly, I’ll gently guide you back to each other.
Sometimes that might be a small prompt to take a breath, look around, notice the people who have come to celebrate you or simply take a second to really see each other.
Because your ceremony shouldn’t be something that happens around you. I want you to be completely present for it, connected to each other and able to remember how it actually felt.
