The best ceremonies don't feel like a performance. They feel like two people telling the story of how they got here, surrounded by the people who matter most. That's what I care about creating.
From our first conversation, I'll take the time to get to know you properly: your story, your personalities, the little details that make your relationship yours, and the things you want your guests to know. I'll then turn all of that into a ceremony that feels natural, personal and beautifully considered.
My aim is for your guests to laugh when they're meant to laugh, shed a tear when they're meant to, and leave feeling like they know you both just a little better. And while your ceremony will always be personal, my approach is calm and considered. I'll take care of the legalities, guide you through the process, help you with your vows, write your ceremony from scratch and make sure everything is taken care of before you arrive.

A little about Alana
I'm a Melbourne celebrant, MC, wife and mum of 2 who genuinely loves what I do.
I've had the privilege of marrying more than 200 couples, and after every wedding I'm reminded that it's the little things that make each story special. Outside of weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, or probably talking about food.
I'm also a qualified lawyer, so I'm very comfortable with the legal side of things, but don't worry, I promise I won't make your ceremony sound like a contract.
My style? Warm, romantic, polished and personal, with just enough humour to keep things feeling like you.
Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable in my hands. I'll know your story, I'll know your ceremony, and I'll be there to make sure you can simply take a breath and enjoy the moment.

I am a fun, young(ish), light-hearted celebrant and mother of 2. I am a qualified lawyer by trade, but I also believe weddings are one of the most beautiful occasions in life, and I am here to celebrate them with you, with an approach filled with love, happiness and excitement! As a lawyer, I am always thorough with reading and writing my ceremonies to ensure they meet your desires and are also fun and professional at the same time. It allows me to double check my processes to ensure we are set up for success on the day, and with every little detail, you can be assured that your ceremony will be the one part of your wedding that you will not need to stress about, I have you convered wholeheartedly!
I absoultely do! I want to make sure that your wedding day goes perfectly, and therefore, would love to offer a rehearsal to get every little thing up to the highest standards!
Certainly! If a wedding is within 50km of my suburb, I am hapy to travel at my own cost. Anything further than this, I would be willing to travelto your wedding for a small fee.
I would describe myself as romantic and elegant, with a hint of fun and mystery. Every wedding is unique and different, and I want to ensure I can make yours the best it can be. If your values line up with mine, I would love to hear from you!
I sure do! I ensure that we go through the NOIM, DONLIM, and certificates on the day to ensure you are legally married. I also lodge your paperwork with the relevant authorities and order your certificate to be sent directly to you so it is one less thing to worry about!
I will arrive at least 1 hour before your wedding! This is to set everything up and ensure that when you arrive, your ceremony is ready to go!
They can but with a small exception! Your friend is able to do the ceremony, except a registered celebrant will need to do the legal aspects. This includes the monitum and the legal signing of the documents. Other than this, your friend is able to completely take the stage! I am always happy to assist them shoudl they require any guidance on creating the perfect ceremony for you!
I accept a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the remaider payable 30 days before your wedding.
