My name is Teresa, and I have been a Celebrant since 2010. Creating individual and personal ceremonies for my clients is my passion - it is such an honour to be a part of this special day!

I specialise in intimate family ceremonies, they can be held in private gardens and parks or non-denominational chapels, or just by the river. Whether you plan on having 2 guests or 50 - I will make it a memorable occasion.

Teresa was really good and she included my young daughter and involved in the service. She felt very comfortable with Teresa. My parents had passed away and she was able to include them in the service in a beautiful way. We highly recommend her!

We were looking for a celebrant to conduct our no-fuss, intimate, low key ceremony when we found Teresa. We had no idea of what kind of ceremony we wanted. After meeting with Teresa, it was clear she was going to go above and beyond our expectations to make our day truly memorable. Every wedding is different, and each couple are special, so no matter where the ceremony is held or how much it costs, the day is about two people making a commitment to each - and that makes every wedding the best!

have you ever said no to doing a couple's wedding?

Yes! I was asked to 'dress up' in what I considered an inappropriate way. So I suggested to the couple that "perhaps I was not the right Celebrant for them"!

When I asked them "why did they want me to do that?" The response was "we just wanted to see if you would do whatever we asked!"

I am always open to including whatever ideas a couple may have, that is what makes every ceremony unique, however it is important to remember that it is a legally binding commitment and should be respected as such!

Is it ok to use the same Celebrant that our friends used?

What are your thoughts on using the same celebrant that a friend used? Have you experienced this before?

I love receiving referrals from couples who have maybe attended a ceremony I conducted or have been recommended by friends that I have married previously. And of course it is okay to ask! I always make sure that I use a completely different format for the ceremony so that it is quite unique as well!
