About
I love being a Celebrant. I love people. I love hearing their stories. I love that everyone is different and has their own distinctive character. I to have my own unique story . I am married with 2 children. Music is my true love. I lean toward the heavy side of music and go to as many live bands as I can. I love sci-fi and horror. I love comics and pop culture. And I love adventure. But most of all, I am me and I am unique. As Dr Seuss said "Why fit in, when you were born to stand out".

I'm not a religious but can I have my marriage ceremony in a church?
Tracey Moyle Ceremonies & Celebrations
There are a few great chapels around that are Non-denominational. I know of a few in the Brisbane area, old churches that have been refurbished and run as Wedding Ceremony Venues. They are a great option as well if you need and inside ceremony location.
Who writes the vows? Do we say them or have to repeat after the celebrant?
Tracey Moyle Ceremonies & Celebrations
Every couple will have to start their vows with the legal wording as a requirement in the Marriage Act. But whether you write your vows or have your celebrant guide you, with either suggestions or by helping you put your words down on paper is entirely up to you. Personal vows are always the ones that sound the most natural so don't be afraid to ask your celebrant for help putting your feelings into words.

There are three documents to sign on your wedding day. One is a certificate of marriage which is registered with Births Deaths Marriages in your state, the second is a certificate of Marriage kept by the celebrant for their records and the third is a Marriage Certificate which is kept by the couple on the day. This Marriage Certificate is a legal document and cannot be replaced. However it can't be used to officially change your name with institutions such as banks or main roads department. You must apply for a copy of your Registered Marriage Certificate (similar to a birth certificate) from the Births Deaths Marriages Registry in the state which your ceremony was performed. This is certification that your marriage has been registered by the celebrant. You can apply to have a 'Commemorative Certificate' sent along with the offical certificate.
