Kate is an 12 year consecutive ABIA Awarded Finalist as voted by past couples for her ability to make their ceremonies fun, stress-free and heartfelt.
An Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2008, Kate has extensive experience and her strengths lie in the ease of communication, being highly organised, and her attention to detail. Most importantly, through listening to what it is her Clients really want and providing them with options on how to best make it happen.
Having a background as a Vocalist and performer for many years, as well as extensive public speaking experience allows diversity in the way Kate presents weddings. This means each ceremony is not only written for the couple, but presented in a manner that also reflects them.
Kate has been a Finalist in the ABIA Awards every year from 2011-2022. She is ranked in the Top 5 Celebrants in Victoria and the Top 25 Celebrants in Australia. Kate is also the Ballarat Wish Leader with nationally registered charity www.myweddingwish.org - Gifting weddings to the terminally ill.
Kate is the Founder of the Ballarat Wedding Collective and a passionate promoter of Ballarat Wedding businesses. The Ballarat Wedding Collective website brings all of Ballarat's Wedding Vendors together in one place!
About
2008 saw my journey as a Civil Marriage Celebrant begin - for the last 15 years I have been fortunate to share the marriage ceremonies with hundreds of excited couples, in addition, I have had the absolute privilege of officiating at many hundreds of Funeral Farewell services.
