How would you describe your celebrancy style?
Leanne’s style depends on what the couple wants, whether that’s casual and fun, or more serious and formal, religious, non-religious, or a combination. You’ll approve the ceremony script beforehand so Leanne can ensure the ceremony is exactly what you want.
Do you assist couples with writing their vows?
Absolutely! If you need a hand with your vows, Leanne will be more than happy to help. Some couples know exactly what they want to say, some need help writing their vows and others want Leanne to write the vows for them, so Leanne tailors her services accordingly. She will give you a booklet of sample vows for inspiration and will provide the perfect level of assistance when you are writing your vows.

Leanne Booker Celebrant
Religions each have their own laws and rules about marriage and marrying couples outside their particular church. For instance, a Catholic priest will only marry a couple in a Catholic church. There are exceptions to this law and you need to seek consent from the Church (usually from the Bishop). So if you have a particular religious order in mind to marry you, I suggest you contact that order for an explanation on their laws.
You may find some of the non-denominational chapels will have a list of the religious people that will agree to marry in their chapel. So if you have a particular chapel in mind perhaps contact them first. Near where I live in Brisbane there is a stunning non-denominational chapel - Broadway Chapel Woolloongabba - which hosts both civil and religious wedding ceremonies.
