Ashleigh Jade will use a meet and greet as well as a questionnaire to get to know you as a couple so that she can create the perfect ceremony script. Your ceremony script can be altered as many times as you request to ensure it's exactly as you envisioned. On your wedding day, Ashleigh will deliver a sincere and heartfelt ceremony that engages your guests right up until "I do!"

Hi I'm Ash! Born in SA, now living in Brisbane with a german shepherd and an absolute love for weddings. I have worked in Government for 10 years and became a marriage celebrant in 2016 because I LOVE CELEBRATING LOVE. I also wanted to offer an alternative to the extra-long traditional ceremonies! My friend has written a script for the ceremony, can you just do the legals?

Absolutely! I provide a cheaper service if you only require me to assist with the legalities at the ceremony. This includes the paperwork and a few sentences I am required by law to say to ensure your marriage is valid. I'm also happy to help your friend with their script and can assist with a few tips so your ceremony runs perfectly.

I don't know what to write with my vows, can you assist?

Definitely - I can send you through a variety of examples to assist with writing your vows. As part of my service I also print your vows for you and give them to you on the day so you you don't have to worry!

We want to elope, can it just be us?

Even when eloping you will require two witnesses over the age of 18 to attend (and yes one person could be your photographer if they agree!). If you don't want to involve anyone you know, I can assist with arranging two witnesses.

Should we do a rehearsal?

While a rehearsal isn't mandatory, I personally believe a rehearsal is extremely useful for you and your wedding party. It will provide you with an opportunity to familiarise yourselves with where to stand, how familiy/friends will be involved (e.g. through a reading, providing a blessing or bringing forward the rings), and to practice walking down the aisle. It also helps to calm the nerves and gives you added assurances of how the ceremony will run. I offer a free rehearsal for my wedding ceremonies.

Ash was so supportive to work with, in the lead up and the on the wedding day! Ash made a big effort to get to know us, to make our ceremony tailored to us. She reached out to friends, met us prior to the wedding, and attended our rehearsal the day prior. She was across it all, even printing our vows on beautiful vow cards for us to read from. We received so many compliments from guests on her beautiful ceremony and how lovely she was to speak to. We cannot recommend her enough. She felt like a friend on the wedding day. Thank you Ash!
