Crafternoon Tea

The tearoom has two small steps leading to the entrance, with a landing. A ramp can be placed over the steps to assist with access into the studio if needed.

Inside, the tearoom is open-plan, with plenty of space to accommodate a wheelchair.

Please note that the bathroom is quite small and may not be suitable for all accessibility needs. However, a curtain is available to close off the kitchenette and bathroom area for additional privacy if required.

A workshop will generally go for 1.5hrs, with the exception of flower crown making which is 1hr duration. I normally recommend leaving up to 2hrs in the schedule for the event, allowing for latecomers, general chat and any cake or food that you may like to serve while you're in the space :) Please message Amy if you'd like longer, or need an express-package if you have a jam-packed schedule!

The tea blending workshop includes:

• 1.5hr workshop hosted by Certified Tea Master Amy Freund
• Personalised tea blend in a glass jar with wooden spoon and label
• Individual place settings with teacups and blending materials
• All ingredients required to make a bespoke tea blend

What we do in the workshop:

• Explore the history of tea and learn about the major tea-producing countries
• Learn how to use the tea flavour wheel to find your favourite tea type!
• Taste and profile 5 special and rare teas from around the world!
• Introduction to tea blending 101
• Create your personal tea blend using a mix of ingredients provided (green, black, rooibos, herbal tea and botanicals to suit all tastes)
• Get creative with naming your tea on the label provided

The Tea and Tarot workshop includes:

• 1.5hr workshop hosted by Certified Tea Master and Tarot enthusiast Amy Freund
• Personalised tea blend in a glass jar with wooden spoon and label
• Individual place settings with teacups, tarot decks and blending materials
• All ingredients required to make a bespoke tea blend

What we do in the workshop:

• Explore the mystical history of tarot and tea
• Learn how to shuffle, interpret and perform a three-card reading
• Learn how to use the tea flavour wheel to find your favourite tea type!
• Taste and profile 5 special and rare teas from around the world!
• Introduction to tea blending 101
• Create your personal tea blend using a mix of ingredients provided (green, black, rooibos, herbal tea and botanicals to suit all tastes)
• Let your intuition guide you through a past-present-future three-card tarot spread
• Get creative with naming your tea on the label provided

The DIY Flower Crowns workshop includes:

• 1hr workshop hosted by Amy Freund
• Flowers of varying shapes, sizes and styles
• Garlands individually cut to size
• Collection of seasonal teas to sip while making your floral creations

What we do in the workshop:

• Demonstration of how to curate your perfect flower crown design
• Mix of gorgeous large and small fabric flowers to attach to your crown
• Garland cut to size so your flower crown fits perfectly
• Opportunity to make crown, bracelets, rings and more throughout workshop
• Beautiful seasonal teas to sip while making your floral creations
