Heather is the owner of Colour Co and the lead creative workshop host. Warm, funny and knowledgeable, Heather is an experienced artist and workshop host ready to make your hens party one to remember. Whether you want a crafternoon with the mums and aunties, or a paint party rager with tequila shots – Heather has got you covered. When Heather isn't running workshops she's working in the studio making her own art, playing with her dog, or starting a new project and ignoring all the old ones!

At a Colour Co Workshop, expect a vibrant and colorful experience. Known as Perth’s cutest creative workshops, we offer a variety of activities like paint and sip, craft, and clay. Enjoy delicious drinks (including non-alcoholic options), bright pastels, bold colors, and great tunes to get you in the creative zone. Our experienced instructors provide step-by-step guidance to help you create a piece you’re proud to take home, even if you’ve never painted before. Workshops are usually 2hrs and include all materials, one-on-one support, and drinks. We focus on fun, color, and big creative ideas, ensuring a memorable experience for you. Need a drink top-up, advice, or a pep talk? We’ve got you covered.
Our workshops are designed to be a great experience for everyone regardless of skills and experience! Our talented instructors will lead you step-by-step through the process and provide plenty of one-on-one guidance as you create in our workshops. If you need a bit of extra TLC, that’s ok! We’re your number 1 supporter and here to help you create something you really love and are proud to take home. Beginner friendly, our workshops are designed to support both adults and children. We provide one-on-one support, plenty of opportunities for skill building, and of course – tuition of basic acrylic painting techniques throughout each workshop.
We provide aprons, but our workshops can get a bit messy! Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on, just in case.
We host our workshops at Maison which is a beautiful small event space located in The Pickle District, West Perth.
Maison is located at 9 Douglas Street West Perth which is off Newcastle Street. There is parking available in the bays right outside the venue (they are signed “employee” parking etc but you are welcome to park in them after 5pm weekdays and anytime on weekends).
There is also parking available along Douglas Street and on Drummond Street which joins onto Douglas.
We are also completely mobile and can come to a venue of your choice! Let us know when are where and we'll be there.
We provide a small drinks package for every hens party we host at our West Perth studio space. It includes a combination spritz, tea, soft drinks and other non-alc options. Please chat to us about specific inclusions when making your booking. You're also welcome to BYO your own drinks.
At the venue we supply glassware, high tables and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave for your use during the workshop.
Please note: food is not included in the package but we can arrange a grazing board for you. Please ask about this when booking!
Unfortunately we only supply drinks when hosting in our space, when we come to your venue please supply your own food and drinks.
Maison, our event space in West Perth, has parking right outside. While there are no designated accessible bays, you can park in any available spots. The car park has a slight incline leading to a large roller door entry. The venue floor is flat and made of polished concrete. There are two toilets, but neither are accessible.
