Hi there, we would recommend visiting a store like David Jones or Myer as this provides an extensive range of formal and evening options among a great range of brands in multiple price points.
As they also offer accessories and shoes it allows you to create the whole outfit in the one store.

Depending on where you are located there are specialists in this area.
In Western Australia, we have Chapmans and The Wardrobe. Both offer womens clothing but also provide clothing for Mother of the Bride, which I would find suitable for grandmother of the bride.
