What are some good alternatives to traditional wedding dresses?

We are open to ideas but both being brides makes it kind of hard to navigate.. is there any ideas that we should consider?

Wear what makes you happy, choose a style that flatters your body, you can really wear anything these days. Tailored clothes are always very nice, weather it be a dress or pants, shirt, vest and jacket the options are endless. Go try things on see what looks good on your body, try things that you would never normally try. You never know what you will find when being open to new ideas. Sometimes the things on the rack looks way better on and if you don't like it you can just take it off. With so many options out there it becomes very overwhelming and confusing, but if you find things you don't like that is good too because you can ultimate them from the list of options. Jumpsuits are a great alternative to a gown and the are very on trend. Two piece wedding dresses are also on trend eg a beautiful circle cut skirt with a lace top. You don't have to go white or ivory you can do prints and colours if that is your preference. Sequin fabrics in metallic colours are all the rage at the moment. If nothing in fashion today looks good to you look back at past fashion trends, popular one being the 20s and 50s. If you want to be different I recommend a Dressmaker/designer that can create something unique out of beautiful fabrics. What ever you decide to do the fit is probably the most important thing about an outfit, so if you buy something off the rack get a good dressmaker/tailor to fit it for you. Don't forget about accessories they can really make an outfit. If you like more under stated look you can dress it up with statement jewelry. Remember its your wedding day do what makes you happy.

Your choices are absolutely endless. Anything from fish tail to tiered and even a suit if you so desire. For 2017 trends that are proving to be popular are large bow detail, full skirts, dramatic capes, 3D florals, long sleeves and lace are among the favourites.

Your dress should reflect you and your style and be comfortable enough to enjoy your celebration throughout the day. Dresses can be custom made to suit and compliment your figure. You may even choose to select a detail from each others design and incorporate it into your attire.
