Unfortunately, I cannot give a wholehearted recommendation for Coonara Springs as a ceremony venue. Communication with them was very poor (except for when they expected deposit/payments). We had to do all the gardening/weeding/cleaning of the outside toilet - they offered no assistance, not even on the wedding day. We had to meet their set time for our ceremony which in the end didn't matter. They accommodated their restaurant guests as priority. However, the garden and setting is very beautiful at Coonara Springs.

Jess and the team at The Independent made our wedding preparation so enjoyable and instilled in us the confidence that our reception was going to be organised and our guests' needs were going to be well taken care of. The atmosphere at the restaurant is edgy yet sophisticated, relaxed yet first-class, and the banquet-style menu really encouraged guest mingling. Altogether, the staff and venue created the dreamiest setting for celebrating our wedding...it honestly exceeded our expectations! Cannot recommend enough!
