Uyen was an amazing celebrant! She radiates warmth with every interaction and really does love celebrating love. Uyen took time to really understand our story and conveyed it beautifully during our ceremony. In the lead up she explained how the day will go in detail and ensured we thought deeply about how we wanted our civil service to go (through multiple interviews, a comprehensive questionnaire and vow writing advice). On the day of the wedding, she played an integral part of the proceedings but allowed us to shine as the main characters. We highly recommend her to everyone!

Zest at the Spit was a dream reception venue! Amazing decor that needed little enhancements to shine, food that was seriously good and had everyone full and happy, and a team that was friendly, flexible and professional. If you are considering this venue, don't wait any longer to go visit the team who will look after you! On the first visit, we knew this venue was "the one" based on the look and feel of the place. But it was Bridget's professionalism and explanation of how Zest does things differently that really convinced us we'd have a unique and personal wedding at Zest. Then we met Rafaela who explained in great detail how the night would work. They were flexible to our request around accommodating wheelchair guests, using a modified schedule to their default and all questions about food and alcohol. We HIGHLY recommend considering the extended canapes since it allows the guest to mingle and chat with us (The bride and groom) for longer and it allows everyone to enjoy many delicious canapes. Finally, on the night Zest made our wedding so enjoyable and fun. Martin and his team kept our guest happy and communicated well with us whenever there was an issue or something to consider. As a final testament to the chef's wonderful work, we recieved more glowing reviews about the chicken main course and how flavourful and moist the dish was OVER the steak (which was still cooked perfectly and delicious!). Amazing to see! All in all, Zest was really the perfect venue in our eyes!
