Happy Camper catered our Daylesford wedding party with one of their Bedford trucks in May, and we couldn't be happier with them as our choice of caterer! To directly quote some of our guests, it was "the best wedding food ever"! Our wedding wasn't very traditional, and their food perfectly complimented the relaxed, fun vibe we were going for. We opted for canapes, meatballs, woodfired pizzas, salads, and gelato, and everything was so delicious! On top of that, the truck and set-up looked so good and was such a fun and memorable touch. A huge thank you to Jessie who was incredible in the lead-up - so easy to communicate with, efficient, and super helpful in navigating lots of dietaries. There was something for everyone, and they took much care to ensure that allergies were safely catered to. Our pizza chefs Jona, Rohan, and Juana, and wait staff Margherita, Nassim, and Ashanti were all so warm and friendly and made sure everything ran so smoothly on the night. We can't thank you all enough, and would highly recommend Happy Camper to anyone planning a wedding or hosting an event! We can't wait to return to Campground Kitchen for some more pizza in the future!

Stacie is an absolute gem, and a creative genius! We could not be happier with her styling for our wedding party. What started out as a simple drapery request ended up being a much more full vision, with her also styling our tablecloths/fabrics and candles, and ensuring that everything was cohesive and just right in general! Being able to confidently hand off the huge task of sourcing styling elements to someone I wholeheartedly trusted was such a blessing in the planning process. She worked with our florist and venue to ensure their visions aligned, and it was such a relief having Stacie organising these elements on the day so I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Stacie is such a warm and passionate person, so it really does feel as though you are going through the process with a friend! I asked her to assist around 6 weeks out from the wedding, and she somehow pulled together the perfect vision (and a LOT of fabric!) in no time. She was so helpful in answering any question I had, and open to and enthusiastic about any and all of my ideas and requests. Her vision aligned with mine so perfectly, and where I was struggling with inspiration Stacie somehow knew exactly what I needed! In fact, her ideas were better than what I could have imagined! We decided to forgo a ceremony and most formalities at our wedding, and Stacie’s styling was perfect in making the space feel equal parts just as special as a traditional wedding, but as joyful and fun as a big party. We received so many compliments from our guests and our photographers about how phenomenal the venue looked thanks to her. We gave her a quite a unique colour scheme to work with, that perhaps not anyone could pull off, but she managed it make it look timeless and warm, but also modern but glamorous. We love looking back on our photos in such a beautifully styled space. If anyone has doubts about the additional cost of styling services in their wedding budget, I can say with confidence that it was absolutely worth it, for the quality of Stacie’s work, and the peace of mind and opportunity to fully relax on my special day was priceless. If ever I need another event styled, I will absolutely be asking Stacie!

We could not be happier that we chose Leonards Hill Estate as the venue for our wedding party! It was our last stop after a day of visiting venues, and as soon as we walked back to the car we both agreed it was the one! No discussion needed. The moment we met El and walked onto the property, we just knew! The venue and grounds are absolutely immaculate - so clean, perfectly maintained, and the attention to detail in every aspect is so clear. The outdoor areas are beautiful, and it was so lovely greeting our guests at the Pavilion during golden hour. We then moved into the Shed, which very comfortably fit our 120+ guests, a band, and dancefloor! The space is modern and pristine, but still warm and inviting. The venue is gorgeous as is, so very little decoration is needed if you are on a budget, but it's also an amazing canvas to work with if you really want to make it your own. From the start we wanted a relaxed, fun vibe, and LH was the perfect place for this. Although we chose not to do a ceremony or many formalities, holding our party there made the event still feel as special and memorable as any traditional wedding. It somehow felt both like a huge party, and an intimate gathering at the same time. El was incredible from start to finish, answering my many questions, thinking of things we needed before we did, considering every detail, and just generally being such a warm, energetic person to work with. We booked LH only a few months out from our date, and El helped us pull everything together so quickly. From the first visit, she felt like a friend rather than a vendor. Going down the non-traditional route, we had lots of ideas that were a little different, and El was always open to our suggestions and requests, and we so appreciated her enthusiasm to make any and all of our ideas come to life exactly as we had envisioned! It is so clear that El is incredibly passionate about what she does, and trust me when I say she is exactly who you want on your team when you are planning one of the most important days of your life. She made the entire process exciting, easy, and stress-free. She has some amazing contacts, and we were able to choose some other incredible vendors thanks to her expertise. On the day, El was, as usual, a ray of sunshine, and all the staff at LH were so lovely and made the night run really smoothly - we never had to worry about a thing! Thank you so much to the whole team. So many of our guests complimented us on the venue and how well the night ran. We also want to say a huge thank you for allowing us to have our dog there! Our number one criteria was that she be able to be a part of our big day, and this was never a problem at LH. We are so grateful that we can look back on our photos and have her in them all. She had the time of her life thanks to El and the team! Unfortunately we had already booked accommodation, but had guests stay in the homestead on the property which they absolutely loved! The carpark also easily accommodated our guests’ private vehicles, and drop off and pick up of guests by two large coaches. Lastly, you can’t go wrong with the location! Daylesford is just a dream, and LH is far enough from the town centre that you have beautiful views over the surrounding bush and farmland, but close enough that your guests can stay nearby and easily get to and from the venue. We feel the cost of Leonards Hill was very competitive and absolutely worth it, and we urge anyone looking for the perfect venue to go for a visit ASAP! If you are looking to plan a wedding or host an event, big or small, that feels relaxed but elevated, you will not be disappointed, and we know you’ll make the memories of a lifetime there. As soon as the night ended, I wished I could do it all over again!
