Unfortunately I cannot recommend this supplier. We agreed on a gorgeous simplicity cake, however it showed up with a tacky plaque on top that looked horrendous in all our photos and was not what was agreed. Every guest was asking me why we choose to do it that way. I was so upset. It was never raised with me at any point that that it would differ from the photo we agreed or that it would be done this way. When I raised it after, the supplier's response was "Oh well you should have rejected it on the day". Everyone knows that would was impossible to do when delivered directly to the venue and not seen until arrival at the reception. I feel that this is a common practice by them so they can get away with sub par work. I work with Pastry Chefs in Sydney and they could not believe that a supplier would send that to a venue without a discussion. I have photo evidence of what was agreed versus what was supplied if they can be uploaded. I would just hate any other brides to go through this. You spend so much time, care and money on your special day I don't believe it is unreasonable for a supplier to deliver what was agreed or if that is unable to be provided that a conversation take place. My florist had challenges, but she called me the day before and resolution ended up being better.
