From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to The Urban Legends for completely making our wedding day unforgettable. The week of our wedding, our canapé hour singer unexpectedly cancelled. As any bride can imagine, this was the last thing I needed during an already stressful week! I called The Urban Legends hoping they might have a solution, and without hesitation they simply said, "No problem at all, we'll play an acoustic set during your canapé hour too." The relief I felt in that moment was enormous, and it perfectly sums up how professional, accommodating and genuinely wonderful they are. Not only did they save the day, but David also brought along his double bass, which looked absolutely incredible during the canapé reception. It's such a beautiful instrument and added a sophisticated, elegant atmosphere that elevated the whole experience. For context, I am a professional musician myself and so it was important to me that the musicians I hired for my special day were not only professional but also incredibly talented. The Urban Legends are exactly that! Throughout the day, every musical moment was handled seamlessly. They played the perfect background music as guests entered the dining room, creating exactly the right ambience. They also expertly managed the speaker system for our first dance songs, allowing us to use the original recordings we'd practised with. Everything ran flawlessly! Then came the party… The Urban Legends absolutely rocked the room. From the moment they started, the dance floor was packed. Guests were singing, dancing, laughing and gathering in front of the band all night long. They played all the classics and performed every song exceptionally well. The energy they brought was infectious and genuinely became one of the highlights of the entire wedding. The Urban Legends didn't just provide music for our wedding, they completely and utterly MADE our wedding. It would not have been the same without them, and we will never forget the role they played in creating so many special memories. If you're considering booking them, do it. You will not be disappointed!!
