March 2020
Our wedding was held at Rambla On Swan and was absolutely fantastic. The venue looked amazing and the view on the deck was stunning overlooking the city and river! From arrival after the ceremony the bridal party was personally greeted by friendly and professional staff. We had canapes ready on arrival chosen by the chef himself. They were absolutely delicious, my favourite was the chicken skewers but it was a tough choice as they were all delicious. We then moved into the reception room for a sit down dinner and had Organic bread with semi salted butter, mixed olives, local olive oil and Pedro Ximenez to start. Everything tasted fresh and was a great way to start the meal. The entrees were served, they were a hit and everyone commented on how tasty the Harvey Beef Tataki was. For our mains I had the Cone Bay Barramundi, grilled corn and jalapeno salsa with herb salad and oregano oil, which was presented so well and was absolutely delicious. My now husband had the Char grilled lamb fillet, sage risotto, pecorino and balsamic, he said it was amazing and that the flavour combo was just right. The dessert finished off the meal perfectly! We had warm chocolate fondant with vanilla bean ice cream & butterscotch. We were full by this time but the dessert was too good to leave any!! Rambla On Swan also provided some cheese and biscuits for the bridal table which was a lovely surprise! Chef Richard did such a great job on the food that guests who attended were still messaging me a few days later saying how good the meals were! Patricia the events manager made our experience so easy, she guided us through the whole process & even after the wedding day she still kept in touch! Pat never made anything too difficult, every change was dealt with straight away and questions answered promptly! We can't thank the staff enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives!
