My husband and I were very happy with our choice of venue for both the ceremony and reception! Many of our guests, including overseas and interstate family members, had never been to the Apple Shed before, and they only had good things to say. It has a great rustic, 'Tasmanian' feel, and even with fairly minimal decorations it looked great, in-person and in our photos. It also had the added benefit of being able to accommodate our mid-sized wedding indoors if the weather was bad, which gave us great peace of mind. Fortunately, we were able to have a beautiful outdoor evening ceremony, which is definitely where the Apple Shed really shines. Everyone was very impressed with the food (including us, although we were too busy to eat much of it!), and it was fun having their apple pies instead of a traditional wedding cake. Communication was generally very good too, as the team was friendly and responsive throughout the planning process. There was a minor miscommunication around our final guest numbers when our quote was being finalised, but it was sorted out pretty quickly and they were happy to accommodate all of our requests. The staff on the night were also great, helping our family with the setup and providing friendly service throughout the reception. We'd happily recommend the Apple Shed to any couple who is after a slightly different vibe for their wedding :)
