The flowers were done onsite by the owners family. From the moment we met Faye - we knew she would really capture the essence of our day. She was so warm and really engaged in the experience. The flowers were so beautiful and she really got it so perfectly right for our day. High recommended - such a beautiful soul who is really invested in making your day magical.

I would like to give more than five stars! Nathan was brilliant. He totally nailed the brief in terms of our music tastes and what was working for our guests. He was really very easy to deal with and very professional. The whole crew at Pulse DJs were in fact. He really made our night. The dance floor was pumping all night long and the combination of old favourites and new tunes was flawless. There were none of those awkward music choices were the dance floor thins out for a bit across the night. Across all ages - everyone was raving about the music and the dance floor - and the sax! Nathan's signature saxophone throughout the night where he would play intermittently along to the set added a really special vibe to the night. The way he incorporated it into his set was spot on. He would come out and play on the floor with all of us dancing around him - it got the crowd even more lively - it was just a really unique touch and one the guests all loved! I just can't recommend him enough - it was so spot on - he captured the essence of who we were, who our friends and family were and made the night even more magical.

Brilliant. The hawthorn common is a great wedding venue for an intimate sit down wedding for 80-90. We had our whole wedding, including ceremony here and the space is just perfect. The set up a little arch on the deck and a little aisle with a few chairs - it was beautiful and worked so well. A really intimate space. As we walked back down the aisle we had asked the staff to start popping the bubbly - a magical moment! The food was incredible (our guests were raving about it for days!), the drinks were flawless and the staff were happy, friendly and so easy to work with - especially when we wanted to extend the dance floor for another hour! The flowers organised by their on site florist were so perfect. The deck worked so well for post ceremony canapés and of course the dance floor. Dancing out on the deck in the open air under the stairs gives a very different vibe to an indoors venue. However, we were very happy to know that we did have space for a dance floor if it rained. This space was perfect for us. The team at the hawthorn common were fabulous and I can't recommend them enough.
