Hugo and his crew captured our wedding with a team of four in November 2019 with conditions being slightly cloudy/sunny. Hugo showed up in a professional manner and presented himself well, his team travelled all the way from Sydney to Cowra and arrived before start time. His team were very friendly and approachable on the day, and were highly respectable to family and friends with humour and friendliness. Although, the end result of our wedding photos were of poor quality and did not represent his work on his media platforms. Our photos as a whole came back grainy, blurry and were very unfocused making the background the focal point. Many portraits and group photos in the collection where also washed out and contained a strange green tone to them. There were also a lot of photos that were missing despite being captured and many that weren't captured despite being requested in a document previously sent to him. The dress photos were very disappointing and did not depict the dress and its quality. Hugo offered to send another photographer 8 weeks later to recapture the dress, but refused to take responsibility for his poor work and compensate for dry cleaning. Messages were exchanged and Hugo offered to refund $700, but later through a phone call he quoted “I can say what I like in messages because it doesn't mean anything” thus, refusing to follow up on his offer. I would not recommend him to anyone and would say the work you see equates for 1% of his collections.
