After mocking up a design, helping me choose the georgette silk, chiffon and embellishments for my dress, they also arranged a designer to make my dress. It cost me less for my custom-made dress, than it would have to purchase an off-the-shelf gown from one of the wedding boutiques.

With two delicious flavours - flourless chocolate, and white choc and raspberry - topped with macarons, white chocolate shards and succulents from my garden, the cake was more like a piece of art. It fitted perfectly with our rustic, beach-inspired theme and was devoured by both children and adults.

Definitely not the cheapest option, but definitely worth it, especially given its beachfront location and additional facilities such as tennis court, pool, and onsite bar. Most of our guests stayed here as they offered a 10 percent discount, even though our wedding was at a different venue.

MaryAnne and the band were a great find for our wedding. We really enjoyed their music, and had lovely feedback from our guests. They helped to create the upbeat and relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for and were kind enough to throw in some Irish songs for my husband's family.

A local to the Great Ocean Road area, Trevor knew exactly how to capture the beach setting, skilfully navigating the changing tides, rain, wind and patches of sunshine. Meeting Trevor before the day also helped to ease my husband's nerves.

As I was a having a contemporary beach wedding, I decided not to wear a veil. I opted for a diamond and pearl comb, which I picked out, tried on, and paid for in 10 minutes. It finished off my outfit beautifully, and kept my mum happy!

With great attention to detail and passion for her work, Eva took metres of material and a rough sketch on a page, and turned them into a beautiful wedding dress. She cleverly disguised my problem areas and accentuated my assets, while ensuring my dress fitted my personality and comfortability.
