We recently had the honor of enjoying our wedding day at Merrilla, my wife met Georgina, the owner owner of the property as she found the cottage on air bnb to do her hens weekend. The girls absolutely loved the property and Georgina suggested having the wedding on her property, as we hadn't settled on a venue at that time. We accepted the offer and it was the moment our dream wedding started to come to life. Georgina, Angus and her family were so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process, and the chef she recommended Simon Borghesi was absolutely fantastic. The whole weekend went smoothly due to the coordination between everyone involved, by the end of it we truly felt a part of the family. The property itself was absolutely stunning due to the constant upkeep of the beautiful gardens, throughout the planning process we got to experience all seasons at Merrilla and its hard to choose which one shows off the beauty of the property the most. I can't thank Georgina, Angus, the rest of her family, and caterer Simon and his fiance Sofie for all the hard work and effort to make our dream wedding possible. If you are after a truly magical wedding location, then this is the place.
