Cocopress drew up the design of the invitations, and then this was sent to me as a PDF file. I printed these myself and used brown twine and gum leaves/ gum nuts to assemble the invitations myself. As for thank-you cards, cocopress also designed these and I printed them myself in a DIY manner.

The lovely ladies who came to do our hair and makeup were amazing. Katie and Selena. I cannot thank them enough. They were so easy going and I felt instantly relaxed. I truly believe their calming presence was one of the reasons I didn’t feel anxious on the day. They helped me start the day right, by feeling fab. I had complete faith in them and my look turned out exactly as I wanted. I wanted to look like me, just hotter! My bridesmaids, mum and bestie also had their hair and makeup done by Chic Artistry. My Bride Tribe looked fabulous!

Frances and Ali from Sydney Acoustic Duo were our musicians for our reception. They were absolutely amazing. They played an array of covers, and performed a DJ set at the end of the reception to kick off the festivities before afterparty! They are phenomenal and so lovely. All our guests commented on how good they were and our friends are considering having them at their wedding, which would be awesome to be able to enjoy their music again.

Kevin was chosen as the photographer for our wedding as he had previously been the photographer at a wedding we’d been guests at. Nichole had come across a photo of herself on Kevin’s webpage from this wedding and thought ‘wow, he makes me look fabulous and I didn’t even know he was taking a photo of me then!’ Pat and I are definitely not posy people and feel awkward having our photos taken. Kevin made the experience the complete opposite, we felt relaxed, had fun and this is evident in the natural look of the photos. We also chose Kevin as his style is exactly what we love, he is truly a story teller. His work is so creative yet candid, and captures the moment so beautifully. Everyone has commented that these are the best wedding photos they have ever seen. And we agree, no bias at all! Looking back on the photos we feel like we are reliving every single moment that transpired on the day. What greater tribute to Kevin and to the love and happiness felt on the day that we can always relive it and feel it through his photos. They are fabulous and so is Kevin, he is a top bloke. He will always be fondly known as Big Kev, because we have BIG love for him.

The team at Gracelands exceed superior. They are all such beautiful people and easy to deal with. They now hold a special place in our hearts forever as they helped create the best day of our lives. They were so professional and accommodating. Jess ensured she was rostered on to cover our reception because she wanted to personally be there for us on the day as we had been liaising with her throughout the planning. She is phenomenal and so dedicated. Nichole cried on her shoulder with happiness during the reception. We cannot rate Gracelands highly enough, they are superb, and the venue is lush. It is spacious and well designed. It provides the best backdrop for an intimate event and was exactly what we envisioned. The food was 10/10, the space 10/10, the drinks 10/10, the party 10/10!!!

We got beautiful labels with the wording 'Let Love Grow' which we placed on white envelopes with seeds in them.
