Jo was our celebrant at our wedding and we were honoured to have her. Her role was a little different than usual, as she shared the responsibility of conducting the ceremony with another friend of ours, who was the MC. Jo performed the legal component and ring exchange. She was incredibly willing and flexible in helping us imagine our ceremony into being, offering sage advice when we needed it and empowering us to trust our instincts and create something truly magical. Jo went above and beyond to ensure that we felt supported, listened to, and comfortable in the lead up to our wedding and on the day. We met with her several times to discuss ceremony details, which was always a pleasure. She was very well-organised and made the whole thing very easy, despite the significant amount of work that she did in the background! It was very easy to talk to Jo and to be honest about what we wanted because she is so warm and approachable. We really appreciated her willingness to adapt her ceremony speech to align more with what we had in mind. Her genuine care and love for this work was evident at every step of the journey. At our ceremony, Jo was a beautifully calm, assuring presence. She spoke beautifully and engaged everyone, provoking both tears and laughter. She was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful that she was such an integral part of our wedding! Thank you Jo.
