Lightheart Films and Photography provided us with absolutely gorgeous memories of our wedding day. We had to rush to get the photos framed when we got them back and the trailer video was an excellent snapshot of the day. This company will get the job done and with top notch results. We only had a few minor nit-picky things that stopped us from giving the full 5 stars. Only small things, but they're things that do matter. For example, the photographer didn't take nearly any photos of the guests. I thought that a photo of each table at the reception would be standard, but no group table photos were taken. I'd recommend that if you want memories of all your guests too, make sure to let your photographer know that's what you want. We also had a lovely arbour/arch that we had built ourselves and got married under. It made for some great photos during the ceremony. But then after the ceremony, the photographers picked it up and moved it out of the way for staged photos, which I thought was a bit strange. Now all of our staged photos at the altar look a little bare in comparison to the ones during the ceremony. People scrolling from one of our ceremony photos to the next exclaim "the arch disappeared! where 'd it go?" I would advise making sure you know what you want and not be afraid to speak up to the photographer if you think you don't like something. I let it go, but wish I had said something! Our photographer was also a little timid when it came to organising us for the posed photos, sometimes had a lot of trouble explaining what he wanted from us, how he wanted us to stand etc. As for the video, they do take a sort of cookie-cutter approach, but having said that, it must be a really excellent cookie-cutter because I video still felt personal, unique and very special. Lightheart comes very highly recommended from us!

The White Tree provided 5 star entertainment on the big night. Everyone at our wedding was commenting on how excellent the band was. We had a four-piece with Danny as our singer. He and the band have a really intuitive feel for the night. They know how to keep the atmosphere at peak. They even improvise to an extent which the crowd loved. Someone spilt some food on the dance-floor during a set and Danny improvised a new verse to Uptown Funk where he sang about how the staff were cleaning up the dance-floor! The humour diffused the situation and kept everyone on the dance-floor. Booking process is smooth and simple and the online portal is very efficient for organisation. Make sure you visit their show case nights as advertised on their Facebook page. There you can see all the performers they have on offer. If you like one singer over another, make sure you specify which you want before booking! Can't speak more highly of The White Tree!

Our two-tier, semi-naked, raspberry and lime wedding cake was absolutely divine! Service was smooth and very efficient. Delivery was on time and cake in perfect condition. We had planned to provide take-home cake bags for the guests, but they proved to be unnecessary! All the guests were diving for seconds and the cake was all gone before the dance-floor opened! Gracious Honey, highly recommended!

We had the most fantastic cruise around NZ with Celebrity Cruises. The celebrity solstice was a 5 star ship and the destination ports were 6 stars quality! Cruise About provided an excellent value for money deal with awesome bonuses such as free balcony upgrade and free unlimited drinks package! The booking process was smooth and our agent was lovely and provided excellent advice. Honeymooners beware, you will be the youngest on the ship by 30-40yrs! Didn't bother us but may be worth considering if it might bother you!
