We honestly could not have asked for a better photographer than Paully for our elopement at Rottnest. From the moment we started, Paully made everything feel easy. Elopements can come with a strange mix of excitement, nerves, logistics, family wrangling, timing, weather, locations and the pressure of wanting the day captured properly, but he somehow took all of that stress out of the equation. He was calm, organised, confident and knew exactly what needed to happen without ever making the day feel rushed or staged. The photos themselves are incredible. Paully clearly knew his shots, understood the light, the locations and the moments that mattered. He captured the big emotional moments, the natural in-between moments, and all the little details we would have missed on the day. Looking through the gallery genuinely felt like reliving the whole experience. What stood out just as much as the photos was how easy he made the day for everyone. Paully helped guide us, gave clear direction when we needed it, kept things moving, and even helped corral people for group shots without making it awkward or stressful. That sounds like a small thing until you are on the day itself and realise how valuable it is having someone who can gently take control and make the whole process straightforward. He also worked so naturally with our celebrant that you would have assumed they had done dozens of weddings together. In reality, they had only met that day due to our circumstances, but Paully slotted in seamlessly, communicated clearly, and helped everything flow as if they were lifelong professional colleagues. That kind of adaptability made a huge difference and took even more pressure off us. He had the perfect balance of being professional, relaxed, friendly and genuinely skilled. We never felt like we had to worry about whether the right moments were being captured, because it was obvious Paully knew exactly what he was doing. If you are getting married or eloping and want someone who will not only take amazing photos but also make the entire experience smoother, calmer and more enjoyable, we cannot recommend Paully highly enough. He was the best decision we made for the day.
