Wooden Spoon Cakes was recommended by our venue, Goona Warra Vineyard, and we were very impressed firstly with the willingness of Debra to create something a little bit different to fit in with the 'dinosaur' theme of our wedding! We were also very impressed with the quality of the cakes which we were able to sample at their cafe in Melton. Wooden Spoon Cakes made us a two-tier cake with our supplied dinosaur cake-toppers, and created an 'environment' for them with sugar rocks and leaves which looked and tasted amazing.

We employed Fiona as our marriage celebrant for our wedding in May 2016. From the very first meeting we were very impressed with her desire to create a ceremony that would reflect 'us', and her helpfulness in providing examples of wording for the various elements of the ceremony was greatly appreciated. Fiona created a ceremony that incorporated our 'nerdiness', with references to some of our favourite sci-fi influences, and the inclusion of a 'sub-ceremony' where we built a small heart out of Lego! She was helpful, friendly and highly professional in the lead-up and on the day, and we are extremely happy with the service she provided.

I found Pam Slade Wedding Flowers through EasyWeddings as I was looking for suppliers in and around Sunbury, near our chosen venue. On meeting with Dionne I was much relieved as she was able to provide some very helpful suggestions and ideas for the floral arrangements, of which we had very little idea going in! Dionne was able to suggest flowers and colours that would go with the 'colour scheme' of our wedding (which turned out to be reds, pinks and whites) and having provided flowers at our venue previously, was able to suggest arrangements and placements that would suit. Dionne was lovely to work with, and did an excellent job; all of the flowers for the day (at the venue, for the girls and I, and the pins for the groomspersons and parents) looked amazing.

We were able to secure Paul Keats from Top-Notch Entertainment for our wedding, who played acoustic guitar during our pre-dinner drinks, and was our MC and DJ for the evening. Paul did an amazing job of all three; his guitar playing was great background to the early evening; and the night ran amazingly smoothly. Having Paul there as MC meant that my (new) husband and I could just relax and not worry about a thing! We were particularly pleased with his DJ skills... he respected our request to have only 80s music during that dancing part of the evening, and the dance floor was always well occupied! Paul was excellent, and went above-and-beyond in his job on the day, including taking some candid shots before and during the wedding that have been wonderful to have while we wait on our official photos!

From the moment we arrived we knew we'd found something special; it had a lovely balance of rustic to functional that was very appealing, and the beautiful grounds and the amazing blue stone cellar and Great Hall made it stand out against the other venues that we'd visited. We met with Elizabeth, who owns and runs the winery with her husband, and she spent time with us showing us the spaces we could use, as well as giving us the details of the packages and options for the day. We were very impressed! Throughout the planning and preparation, Elizabeth was always quick to respond to emails, and provide guidance where required. We made a second visit a couple of months later to sample and purchase some wine from the Cellar Door, which was amazing. At some stage during the wedding planning process, my fiance and I decided that we'd like (almost) life-size dinosaurs present at the wedding, as a tribute to our mutual nerdy love of Jurassic Park and dinosaurs in general. Elizabeth was very accommodating with the supplier of these! We can't thank Elizabeth and her team enough for making our day so special. They went above-and-beyond in making us and our guests welcome, and in accommodating our weird requests. On the night, the food and wine was amazing; the Kir Royale cocktail to start was a highlight, as was the incredible desserts. The room was set up beautifully, and kept wonderfully warm on the cold late-autumn evening of our wedding day. We are so happy that we chose Goona Warra Vineyard, and that it will always be in our hearts as a reminder of our special day.

We hired four suits for the boys from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal in Mitcham (VIC), and were completely impressed with Ferrari's range, styling and professionalism. The ladies in the shop were extremely helpful, and made the process stress-free by ensuring that the boys were all fitted properly, right down to the shoes and cufflinks. I would very happily use them again for other occasions that require formal wear!
