Both my engagement ring and our wedding bands were purchased from Michael Hill. My engagement ring is a lab diamond, in a classic solitaire clasp. It is honestly the most beautiful ring and you would never know it was lab grown. Our wedding bands were chosen for their simple elegance. Staff at the stores we have been to are always freindly and helpful when we request they be cleaned or sent away for their annual service.

Booking Taylor for my wedding hair and makeup was the easiest decision I made. She is friendly, funny and just puts you at ease with the process. We had a first full trial and when I changed my mind about the eyes, she let me have a second trial no issues. She is really good at recommending looks and suggested hair extensions which was the second best decision made! They looked incredible and so natural! Our whole wedding day was perfect but a large part of it was down to Taylor making me feel pretty and confident 🥰 My makeup stayed in place all day with minimal touch ups needed which was amazing considering I cried a lot. I will definitely be booking with Taylor again in the future 💖

Wedding Hair and Makeup

Nick was the musician, MC and DJ for our November wedding and we were in awe of how seamlessly he made it all look. The booking process was super easy and Nick kept in touch in the lead up to our wedding to make sure we were all on the same page about our music preferences and how we wanted the day to run. As well as being friendly and funny, Nick has a truly incredible voice, able to make any song sound amazing, and really added emotion to the setting. When I heard him start to sing the song to walk down the aisle, I instantly got teary because it sounded so perfect 🥹 He happily took our last minute request to sing our first dance song live and truly delivered. He was happy and chatty interacting with all guests (who were raving about him on the day and still are now) and has a great knack for reading a room. If the dance floor got a little quiet, at our request, he would rally guests onto the floor but was also respectful that people were enjoying themselves without necessarily dancing. We would honestly recommend Nick to anyone, his quality of work and service were first class and we hope we have the opportunity to hear him play again in the future. If he ever releases his own album, I’ll be the first in line to buy multiple copies! Thank you Nick ❤️

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue for our special day. From the first day we viewed Gracelands and met with Stef - to the day itself, we were constantly blown away. Everything looked stunning but in a subtle and thoughtful way. The ambiance was magical and all the little details created a perfect backdrop for our celebration. The food was exceptional! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. We even warned guests not to overeat before the wedding as we could guarantee them they would be eating amazing food for dinner (as we had tasted it months prior). Gracelands definitely delivered as our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was! It was clear that a lot of care went into curating a menu that delighted everyone - huge compliments to the Chefs! The staff were phenomenal! They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Catie our Coordinator was amazing throughout the planning process, no question was too silly and despite our email chain getting longer as the weeks went on, she was always kind and helpful in her replies. It was no different on the day; Catie and the whole team were super in helping with last minute details and making sure every guest was comfortable. The bar staff (shout out to the dynamic duo Alise and Elise) were hilarious and had amazing energy which rubbed off on everyone! The whole Gracelands team truly made us feel special and helped in creating a smooth and stress-free day. We've received countless compliments from our guests about how incredible Gracelands was. It is clear that this venue is a gem on the Coast, and we will cherish the memories made here forever.
