A beautiful old building with older but surprisingly large rooms. No elevators though - so if you have trouble with steps, ensure you get a ground room. Communication leading up to our stay was OK, but there were some miscommunications among themselves which shouldn't have happened. Breakfast wasn't anything special.

Wow! Nat was simply amazing. She went above and beyond throughout our day, from assisting my bride in to her wedding dress, to pinning the button-holes on me and my groomsmen. She was front and centre whenever there was something happening, and many guests commented on how hard she worked throughout the reception, never stopping moving around looking for those memorable moments. She stole us away during the dinner service to get some sunset photos, and her enthusiasm and passion for her art really shone through her excited exclamations every time she captured an image that she thought was "the one". Nat made the experience so much fun.

Perfection personified! We had to find a new band for our wedding only 6 weeks out, and found the BBB online. We attended one of their showcases at the Hawthorn Hotel (Vic) and were blown away. The director, Paul, was extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us through their various packages and worked with us to tailor-make a band to suit our budget and event. Their personalised planning pages made communication incredibly easy as I was able to upload a copy of the timings for our wedding so the band could plan their sets accordingly. My wife and I planned to enter the reception singing a song to a backing track, and the band were very accommodating, even sound checking the wireless microphones I supplied for us. They also cued our backing track when required - they basically did everything they could possibly do to support our wedding and make our reception the best it could possibly be! We had a four piece band (lead guitar/vocal, keyboard, drums, bass guitar/vocal) and they were brilliant! By the end of the night, they had ALL of our guests up on the dancefloor!
