When my now-husband and I began our journey to find the right person to stand by us on our big day, we scoured countless pages online, social media, and asked everyone we knew for their recommendations. One person kept getting mentioned time and time again: Bernie. So, we did what any newly engaged couple would do and took a blind leap of faith, meeting up to “check the vibes”… and Bernie absolutely smashed it. From the get-go, Bernie gave us the feeling of having known her forever. She quickly became more like a very close friend, almost family, rather than just another wedding vendor. She never once made us feel like any of our decisions were wrong or that our ideas were too much. In fact, whenever I came to her with an idea, Bernie was always, “Yes, let’s do it!” And if something wasn’t going to work, she would always find a way around it, never taking away from the original idea but incorporating it in a way that worked and flowed beautifully. Bernie was there through so much of our wedding journey, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be by our side. She brought so much warmth, reassurance, creativity and care to the entire process, and that meant more to us than she probably realises. Bernie will forever hold such a special place in both mine and my husband’s hearts. We are so incredibly grateful that our paths crossed and that we took that blind leap of faith.
