Mawson Lakes was the perfect venue, and Richard was an amazing function manager. The room was set up perfectly and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The food portions were more than generous and our guests had only good things to say about the food. Could not fault this place.

Booked over 18 months before our wedding, never reached out to us and when contacted to submit Nomination of Intent to Marry, never responded. We had to book a new celebrant with 34 days until our wedding. Hayley finally responded a week later blaming her busy workload and covid for her lack of response, and with no acknowledgement that our nomination had not been submitted. She then emailed me for an invoice for remaining payment that next day. Advised her we had booked some else and wanted a refund due to multiple breeches of her own contract on her behalf, but no response except for another email with the outstanding balance. Do not want this happening to anyone else, if you are thinking of booking this celebrant, save yourself the headache.
