Having been recommended Sweet and Simple from a friend, I had decided to contact Paula for my grandmothers 80th. We had chosen beautiful cake pops with a small top cake for cutting. After I had seen Paula's incredible work of the cake pops and how particular she was in setting up the cake pop tier, I knew she would be perfect for creating my wedding cake. Even though I had sent Paula photos of the type of cake I had in mind, I was blown away when I walked into my reception and saw the exquisite cake she had created. It completely exceeded my expectations and was so beautiful I did not want to cut it :( All our guests raved about how delicious the cake was, and how stunning it looked. Paula has a real eye for detail and is incredibly talented at creating pieces of art through cakes. Quite often I find cakes and sweets look beautiful but lack in taste, however Paula manages to make delicious tasting cakes that also look AMAZING!

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Carolyn at A Flamingo Surprise is so lovely and easy to work with. Being extremely particular myself (asking the venue to make sure bread rolls are straight on the side plates), at our first meeting, I could see that Carolyn had such attention to detail and having similar taste in the style of wedding I was after. My husband and I were speechless walking into our Reception, everything was picture perfect and even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.

Lala was so helpful with my invitations and had such great ideas. I decided to have "The Works" due to my work being unpredictable and was worried I may run out of time to put them all together, as the detail I had chosen for my invitations were quite intricate. Every single invitation was identical and the presentation was beautiful. You can tell from the moment you want into the shop and see the example invitations, seating charts etc, that Lala and her staff take great pride in what they do.

Having never had my make up professionally done, I was quite anxious as I didn't want to look completely different. After having a trial with Barbara, I loved the way she made my eyes sparkle! I didn't feel like a cake face and she made me feel really pretty :) I could not wait until she could do my make up again on my wedding day. The bridesmaids makeup was just as I had imagined, and even my Mum loved her makeup considering she never likes too much on her face. If only the makeup could be permanent!

We had Adam as our DJ and he was amazing. My husband and I really wanted all our guests to dance and for the dance floor to never be empty the whole night. We loved that we could give a selection of music to them so they had an idea of music we liked, and gave us the opportunity to have songs that we had chosen that MUST be played throughout the night. Adam seemed to really understand the importance to us that the music had to flow and all I can say is that our dance floor was jam packed the entire night and no one wanted to stop, even when it was time to leave! Everyone is still talking about how they wished we could have kept dancing until sunrise!

Sue from Belle Classic Limousines was so friendly and easy to deal with. Being sent a schedule of times etc and which car was going where made it reassuring they had recorded everything I had asked for. All the cars (1 for the groom/groomsmen, 1 for the bridesmaids and 1 for my Dad and myself) all arrived on time and were immaculate. The drivers were so friendly, kind and accommodating, offering water and mints on the way to the ceremony. They really do have first class service and cars.
