Brookleigh Estate is such a breathtaking venue and we could not have imagined a more beautiful place to get married. The gardens, architecture and natural surroundings make it feel like a fairytale setting. The team we interacted with were kind, genuine and clearly cared about creating a positive experience for their couples. There were some areas where communication could be improved. A few emails contained contradictory information, and it sometimes felt like the inclusions or offerings were shifting behind the scenes. That said, they were very flexible and understanding with our needs and allowed our vendors to bump in earlier than expected, which made the setup on the day much easier and less stressful. If I were to suggest improvements, it would be for Brookleigh to maintain clearer consistency in communication and to give the venue a little more attention in cleaning and upkeep. A touch more focus on removing cobwebs, dust and spiders would elevate the already gorgeous surroundings even further. Overall, Brookleigh Estate remains one of the most stunning wedding venues in Western Australia. The scenery, atmosphere and overall feel of the place are unmatched. Even with the few small communication and maintenance issues, we had a wonderful experience and I would choose to get married there again in a heartbeat.

Creative Catering was exceptional from start to finish. Their communication was always prompt and professional, often responding within the hour. They were incredibly easy to work with and genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life. Every interaction felt supportive and personal. As a couple getting married for the first time, we really appreciated how they guided us through the process. They made thoughtful suggestions we hadn’t considered, especially when it came to the flow of a plated service — from timing the courses and clearing plates to how each dish would be presented. Their openness and attention to every detail gave me so much confidence leading up to the day. And that confidence was completely justified. The food was phenomenal — delicious, beautifully plated, and perfectly timed. Every member of the team was professional, warm, and genuinely happy to be there. Guests raved about the meals, and you could feel the positive atmosphere the catering staff helped create. I cannot recommend Creative Catering highly enough. They made one of the most important parts of our wedding absolutely seamless and joyful. I would gladly hire them again for any future event.

Our experience with Confetti & Co’s wedding day coordination was deeply disappointing and fell far below what was promised. We provided an extremely detailed binder with diagrams, timelines, and instructions, yet many key elements were missed or incorrectly executed. On the day, there were numerous issues, including incorrect ceremony seating, a last-minute layout change minutes before walking down the aisle, my veil not being adjusted, the aisle runner missing, fan/tissue arrangements not being set up as instructed, and the coordination team failing to reference the binder at all. Several vendors were confused due to incorrect information, leftover cake was handled improperly and became unsafe, and parts of the reception seating were set incorrectly despite clear plans. Most concerningly, one coordinator appeared disengaged, took personal calls, and left hours earlier than the time she was booked and paid for. The early-morning period also lacked initiative, with tasks being delayed until it was too late to correct them. When we raised these issues afterward, the written response was polite but largely shifted responsibility onto other vendors or “miscommunications” rather than acknowledging the level of service failure that occurred. While a refund was eventually offered, it was paired with a request to consider not posting a review. Couples invest their trust—and some of the most important moments of their lives—into their wedding vendors. I truly hope Confetti & Co take these concerns seriously and implement the improvements they mentioned, so no future couple has to feel this way.

Working with Marry Me Josh was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He brought so much heart, humour and energy to our day and managed to make everyone feel seen and included. Josh was our celebrant, master of ceremony and DJ, and he performed each role with absolute professionalism and personality. From the first conversation he was organised, thoughtful and incredibly easy to communicate with. He helped us craft timelines, guided us through our rehearsal and offered creative suggestions whenever we felt unsure. He even helped problem solve when we had concerns about other vendors, always coming up with calm and practical solutions. On the day itself he was phenomenal, confident, entertaining and effortlessly balanced heartfelt moments with laughter. Our guests could not stop talking about how engaging and fun he was. Marry Me Josh went above and beyond in every possible way. He is talented, reliable and genuinely cares about making your day unforgettable. We could not imagine our wedding without him and recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone getting married.
