We were so incredibly lucky to have found The Vue for our wedding!! Location: Gorgeous and Convenient. The ceremony space, reception space and accommodation are all on the same property. The pavillion where the ceremony happens is surrounded by lush greenery. The lawns/property are maintained perfectly. The Vue Restaurant for reception is also surrounded by greenery and we had reception on a huge deck. There was plenty of space for seating. There was a separate space indoors we used as a dance floor. My only concern with the property was that there was a main road close, but I never heard any traffic noise during our time here at all! Food: The best food I've had at any wedding. We had canapes, alternate drop entrees and mains and our wedding cake cut. Our family were raving about how excellent the food was. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were excellent - everyone was extremely content and full! You could tell that the staff are used to catering for big groups - the food came out so promptly and every dish was beautifully plated. We also went for an option to have a cooked breakfast the next day. Again, food was brilliant. We loved the food so much we plan to come back in the future for lunch/dinner. Coordination on the Day: Perfect!! The whole day seemed to run seamlessly! The staff all work together so well and it just felt like we were special guests - experiencing the wonderful day and no stress at all! Staff: Wonderful!!! The Vue is run by a small team who are so passionate about what they do. This reflects on the environment and the warmth they exude. As soon as we turned up (we had contacted about 40 venues and seen about 5 in person before we found The Vue) we felt the most calm, peaceful, beautiful vibe and after speaking to Mikayla about details and options we knew we had found our perfect venue. Accommodation: Perfect! There are 14 cabins on site (Boonah Valley Motel). If you are lucky when you book your wedding date, if no cabins are already booked, they can reserve all cabins for you and your guests. It was so much fun to have the majority of our guests staying with us to get ready for the wedding, then spend the morning after with them as well! The cabins are clean and well equipped. All the cabins have a little back deck that look out onto a beautiful green field. For us, The Vue had that perfect mix of being in a beautiful, relaxed environment, with elevated food as well as having the loveliest family vibe. We can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else and we very much recommend The Vue! We are also extremely keen for another member of the family to get married there so we can go back and be able to experience it all again as a guest!
