Gunners’ Barracks was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From first hearing about the venue through a recommendation from another bride, to my initial meeting where I was made to feel so welcome, to visiting on my birthday to show my parents the venue (and being treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles), the experience was wonderful at every stage. On the night itself, all the staff were friendly, hardworking and incredibly kind. We encountered a couple of unexpected challenges, including torrential rain and thunder, but the team handled everything exceptionally well and resolved issues quickly and calmly. A special mention to Lara, who was always incredibly prompt in responding to my emails and always had an answer to every question, and to Holly, who managed our event on the night with such friendliness and professionalism. Even with the unexpected weather, she was cool, calm and collected throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding so special. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gunners’ Barracks to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an exceptional team behind it.
