Craig provided a 2 piece band while photos were taken, then a big brassy 7 piece band after dinner. They got our guests up and dancing - a good time was had by all. Craig Francis was very professional to deal with, providing an opportunity to hear them play prior to booking, following up with a simple contract and straight forward event planning sheet. They were well worth the money we spent and we have already passed their details on to potential new clients.

Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted - simple and elegant. Narelle was a pleasure to work with - we had a general idea of what we wanted but she added the experience in terms of size and finishes and some elegance with her iced flowers.

We wanted simple elegant arrangements of Australian native foliage paired with flowers in pinks and burgundies. We were delighted with all the flowers from the beautiful tiered arrangement framing the ceremony to the simple table displays to the bouquets and pockets.

Emily did a fabulous job - initially on the invitations, then later on the Order of Service, Menu's and Tables name plates. Emily was quick to respond, meticulous on getting sign off prior to printing and quick to turn work around. We subsequently asked Emily to design Menu's for a 70th birthday celebration

The venue was a perfect size and layout for our event of around 80 guests. Being mid winter we chose an indoor ceremony which worked well. The staff did an amazing job turning the ceremony area back into a dancefloor within 15-20 minutes of the ceremony wrapping up. We paid for a 4 choice menu which complicated the catering. The Food and Desire team did a fabulous job - our guests are still commenting positively on the quality of the food and service. We struggled early in the planning stages to understand what was part of the package versus not part of the package, and to understand the menu options. Our co-ordinator, Danielle, worked hard to get agreement and we were really pleased with the final result. We were not aware there was going to be a Yacht club event at the same time as the ceremony. A number of club members were walking back and forward in front of the guests (behind the bride and groom) during the ceremony and there was a bit of noise. It was a minor distraction - especially given our wedding was a relaxed celebration of an older, long established couple. However, for some couples this may be a bigger deal.

Our wedding was made special by the active participation of grandchildren and children in the ceremony. Debra embraced the potential unruliness, delivering a ceremony that was both beautiful and meaningful for myself and my partner, but also light, funny and amazing in places. During the planning phase we found Debra was a bit slow in responding to our inquiries and a couple of early meetings were cancelled at late notice. Other than those small inconveniences, we were really delighted with our dealings with Debra and would absolutely recommend her to others.
