The team at Gum Gully Farm did a fantastic job helping us with our big day. Sue answered all my questions promptly via email and helped set up all the decorations on the day. The venue is beautiful and our guests enjoyed relaxing in the kiwi vines in between the ceremony and the reception. The kids were taken around and shown all the animals.

My husband and I chose Ateia for our wedding photography and are generally pleased with our photographer Vlad. There are certain areas for improvement such as his attentiveness to detail. It would have been nice for him to let me know when I needed to straighten up my hair or lipstick, or to tuck a tag into a dress. We noticed that those little details were missed in many of our wedding photos. Otherwise we were pleased with the quality of our photos and Vlad made us feel very comfortable to be photographed on the day.

The most disappointing part of our wedding was definitely the DJ and MC, and our opinion was not just ours alone but also shared by our guests. Our MC did not contact us at all before our wedding to collect any information, and I had to quickly give him the names of myself, my husband, and our bridesmaids and groomsman. He then proceeded to muddle up our names when we entered the reception area. My husband and I also spent hours looking through song choices. We added a few must play songs that were not part of the music library, but for the most part, we chose from what the DJ already had. However, on the night, most of the dance songs we had chosen were not played, and it made dancing very awkward when we were not enjoying the playlist. Our dance floor very quickly became deserted and it was quite disappointing that we had paid over $1000 for the MC and DJ package for this sort of poor performance. I have told all my friends who are getting married in 2018 not to choose Wedding Sounds.

My husband and I chose Lucy's Divine Cakes and were very pleased by the beautiful cake that was made for us on the day of our wedding. The only fault we could give to the service was that when we initially made our order with Lucy's Divine Cakes, the lady who noted down our requests had underpriced our order, so we were told that we needed to pay more for our cake than the price we were originally given.
