We could not have imagined a more perfect place to begin our marriage. Being the very first wedding at Joy at St Peter and St Paul’s made the day feel even more special. There was something so beautiful about knowing we were beginning our forever in a place that was beginning its own story too. From the moment we arrived, everything about Joy felt so peaceful, warm and full of heart. It is one of those places that doesn’t need to try too hard to be beautiful. The land, the chapel, the trees, the light and the feeling of it all speak for themselves. It felt completely us. And then there is Kenny. What a wonderful human. The care, love and thought he has poured into creating Joy is so evident in every little detail. He made us feel so welcomed and cared for, and went so far beyond simply being a venue owner. He genuinely wanted our day to be special, and it was. Our wedding day was absolute perfection, and Joy will forever hold such a special piece of our hearts. We feel incredibly lucky to have been the first couple to get married there and to have played a tiny part in the beginning of what we know will become something so special for many other couples. Thank you, Kenny, for creating Joy, for welcoming us into it, and for helping us begin our forever in the most beautiful place. We will always, always be grateful. ☺️
