I went to have a look at on the shelf dresses in a local shop to where I was living at the time, just to see if a suitable dress was there for me, as I didn't want fuss or frills, as this was my 2nd marriage! I also didn't feel comfortable in the bigger Bridal shops as they were too many gowns to look at and choose from, and actually none was found, but one stood out for me in L'Amour which looked like a long dress that could be worn again. Having tried it on a few times with different friends attending, I made the decision to buy. The owner was fantastic in altering the dress and in the end I bought a train that matched the dress, it changed the look from a dress to a wedding dress and I felt a million dollars on my wedding day.

From the first time we viewed the venue, it felt the right place to have our wedding. The beautiful setting of the garden with the vines either side and the big tree under which we decided to get married was perfect and this was viewed in Winter months therefore, we could only expect the garden to be flourishing in colour and the vines would be full in December. Having returned in the Summer, we were not disappointed by what we saw, flowers in abundance in shades of purples and red, the greenery on the vines, the tree displaying its splendour and the garden feature and furniture. The venue was intimate for a small occasion, we had 45 guests. It was very informal so that guests could mingle in and around the pavilion as well as have use of the garden, weather permitting. The owner of the winery, couldn't do enough for us before and during the ceremony. We had a most wonderful wedding, at a very special place.
