We originally booked with the Boathouse as we wanted a stand-up, relaxed wedding. Due to COVID, our original vision had to change and we had to have a sit-down wedding. The venue adapted extremely well considering they normally do not host sit down weddings for our guest number. They hired in tables, seating etc.. and arranged the table settings/place cards to take the stress away from us. Whilst it was a sit-down wedding, the night still had a relaxed vibe and the atmosphere was great. This was due to the service, entertainment and the layout/feel of the venue. COVID is not going to go away anytime soon and life needs to go on. We highly recommend adapting and making the most of the day.
