Merrilla was the most stunning wedding venue with sprawling manicured gardens and lawns, a pond and beautiful river running through the property as well as gorgeous historical buildings. We visited Merrilla several times during the planning process so I can definitely say that the venue is stunning in every season of the year, no matter when you decide to get married; the only difficult thing was trying to figure out where to hold the ceremony and reception because every part of the property was equally beautiful. But the most special thing about our experience with Merrilla, were the wonderful venue hosts, Georgie and Angus who really did everything to make sure our wedding was the most perfect and memorable day of our lives. They went above and beyond and were so wonderful to get to know and work with. They made the planning process so easy and enjoyable and we are forever grateful for them both! They also helped us connect with some of the other amazing vendors we used for the wedding and the gentleman who manages their property, Kenny, made sure everything looked perfect for our day. It looked like an absolute fairytale. Everything went off without a hitch and it was the easiest, most stress free, fun time that we’ve ever had and we couldn’t be more thankful - we’re both still on cloud nine. Thank you Georgie and Angus, for sharing your beautiful home with us. We feel very blessed to have been your first of many beautiful weddings you have in the future!
