Loved, loved, loved DJ Eric from DJ Masters. We got referred through a friend and we were so happy! This was definitely a highlight. We had so much fun, DJ Eric was so easy to work with and he had an amazing selection of music. The dance floor was packed the whole time! DJ Eric also served as our Master of Ceremonies and he did so well! Highly recommend him and DJ Masters as a whole! Great company to work with!

Wedding Music

We opted to go be a little less traditional with our wedding cake and decided to make it a cheese wheel cake instead! Boy, were we (and our guests) so pleased we did! We selected the ceridwen, milawa blue, goat brie and king river gold. They were all so delicious. We even had left over milawa blue, which we happily ate throughout the week.

Our friends own Gisborne Cottage Flowers, but we would have gone with them regardless. Lisa and her mother were great to work with, very responsive and professional! We were planning everything from overseas and sent them a few photos to give them idea of what I envisioned. We met with them the week of the wedding and I trusted them fully to choose our flowers based on what we agreed upon. We were so pleased with everything. It was unbelievable how they crafted our flowers. I was stunned by how beautiful our arbor flowers and the bouquets were. So happy!

Wedding Flowers

Lisa and Jean were fantastic! As a bride who was planning her wedding from overseas, it was crucial to have someone on the ground and Lisa was great at working with and negotiating with vendors. She took all the hard bits and I got to focus on the fun parts of the planning! She was also SUPER responsive, we dealt with most details via email or on a quarterly call. She was so detail-oriented, which really helped me to lock down details early on so that by the time the wedding rolled around, all we needed to do was go over final details! The day prior to the wedding, Lisa and Jean arrived early and were already setting up the venue. They were super helpful and worked well with my bridal party and family to get things ready. On the day, they were KEY! All we had to do was worry about having fun, Lisa and Jean took care of everything! From the procession music (they provided us with a sound bar as a courtesy) to working the the caterers, they were amazing. I didn't have to lift a finger (other than to eat or drink) and it was amazing. Additionally, Lisa helped me plan an amazing surprise for my husband and helped me keep the secret until the ceremony. It was soo good! I could not be happier that we chose Space Crush Events. They executed our vision perfectly!
