My partner and I feel very privileged to have had Sam as our wedding celebrant. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Communication was seamless throughout the planning process. Sam kept us well informed about each next step, gave us helpful tips for writing our personalised vows, and was open and collaborative in crafting our ceremony. He managed to take our story and create a personalised ceremony that struck the perfect balance of humour and heart – he had everyone laughing and tearing up at the right moments. Sam has such a natural presentation style and read the crowd really well, even throwing in a couple of poignant ad-libs on the day. Our guests were so impressed and commented on how personable and entertaining he was. Thanks so much Sam, everything was absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t have asked for any better.

Marriage Celebrants

My partner and I were married at Fergusson on 22 November 2024, and it was the most amazing experience we could have asked for. Right from the beginning, we were so well looked after. We started scouting wedding venues about 18 months in advance. Armed with shortlist of venues based on some cursory online research, we took a trip up to the Yarra Valley one Saturday to check them out. Fergusson was the first on our list. We turned up without any pre-booking with the intent of just looking around, but after we explained to staff what we were doing, within moments one of the wedding coordinators had come to introduce herself and give us a grand tour. She took the time to explain everything about their wedding packages in detail, the ceremony options, the onsite accommodation, the wines and menus, etc. The good vibes were so strong that it became the benchmark and no other venue we saw that day stacked up to the warmth of that initial experience, making Fergusson an easy choice for our big day. Every little interaction between our first visit and the last drinks at the end of our reception reinforced that we made the right decision. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, was phenomenal and made the whole experience so stress-free. She was always on had to answer our (many) questions, and recommended some fantastic vendors to round out our wedding team. The venue itself is a perfect combination of modern and rustic, with exposed ceiling beams, festoon lights, and wine barrels juxtaposed with white tablecloths and floor to ceiling glass windows giving a stunning view over the vineyard at sunset (seriously, our photos are amazing). The food was incredible, as were the atmosphere and the staff – you know you have an amazing team when they are smiling and dancing along with you at the end of the night! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fergusson to anyone looking for a wedding venue, especially if you’re looking for a more intimate and less ‘commercial’ feel that is present in some of the larger Yarra Valley wineries. Thanks Sarah and the whole Fergusson team for making our wedding so fantastic!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Tanya for my wedding. She came highly recommended by our venue, and I am so thankful that she was! From our first email to the big day, Tanya’s professionalism and creativity was truly impressive. Neither my partner or I had a particularly clear vision for the floral arrangements - nothing more than some ideal colours and a preference for Australian natives - but that didn’t matter because Tanya took the time to give us a wide range of options to complement our theme. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged, making our ceremony and reception look absolutely incredible. The wedding party accessories (buttonholes, corsages, bouquets) were so well matched to our outfits as well. We received many, many comments from our guests about how great they looked! On top of that, we were genuinely surprised at the value for money. We didn’t necessarily have a hard budget, but we were expecting to pay a lot more for the quality of the florals that we got. Absolutely icing on the cake. Thank you, Tanya, for making our special day even more unforgettable, and most of all, so easy for us. I would have no hesitation recommending Heavenly Creations for anyone looking for a wedding florist who delivers exceptional work and is extremely supportive at each step of the process.
